1.KHICHDI

½ Cup Rice
½ Cup Moong dal
1 Tsp Ghee
¼ Tsp Turmeric
½ Tsp Salt
3¼ Cup Water
1 Tsp cumin
1 Bay Leaf
Pinch heeng
1 Onion (finely chopped)
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 Tomato (finely chopped)
¼ Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
½ Tsp Salt
1 Cup Water
2 Tbsp Coriander (finely chopped)

Khichdi is a very simple recipe to make and very wholesome meal for lunch so basically you have to take a pressure cooker put some ghee or oil, when it is heated you add some jeera(cumin), bay leaves and then some grated onion, ginger garlic, green chilli, have any vegetable preference you can add those vegetables like potatoes, peas, Tomatoes etc..then add turmeric and pinch of heeng.
Fry it for a little while then add the rice and dal which you have already soaked in the water for around 15 to 20 minutes .. add those and stir fry it with the other ingredients for more than for more about 5 minutes and then add the water and then close the lid and put the pressure cooker under high flame for about 5 to 10 minutes and then under the low flame for 5 to 10 minutes more and your kitchen is done…
